In the midst of all the heartache that happens every year in regard to family pets, I thought I would share an absolute MIRACLE that was posted today in the Yorkie Talk forums.
A member's dog, Armani, passed away on Valentine's Day 2011 after being violently attacked by a Pitt Bull. What a way to spend the day of the year when love is most in bloom.
Almost one full year later, on a January winter day, the member received a phone call that sent her into utter shock. On the other end of the line was an Animal Control officer, telling her that her dog had been found wandering around. He stated that the microchip had been scanned and revealed the name of the dog (Armani) as well as her contact information. Of course she stated that there must be some mistake, as her dog had died in a Pitt attack. The AC officer replied that he didn't know specifics, but that her dog was very much alive and well, happy and healthy looking (but a bit matted), and was sitting in his truck!!
I cannot begin to describe the flood of emotion that went zooming through the entire Yorkie Talk community. Could this be a New Year's Miracle?? For hours we sat praying, and hoping, and offering words of hope to this woman who thought she had forever lost her little Yorkshire Terrier. A woman who thought every Valentine's day would be spent with bittersweet memories of a sweet little dog that no longer was. A woman just like me, and just like you...who had lost her Yorkie that she held most dear.

Every single one of us in the YT community who was made aware of this situation was deep in prayer over this little dog, hoping with all hopes it was her Armani.
